Hay Harbor Club is located on Fishers Island, NY and was founded in 1909. At its founding, HHC filled a void as the social and sporting center for the summer community by offering tennis, golf and sailing to its members.

The sporting and social scene at Hay Harbor has evolved as bathhouses, a swimming dock, additional tennis courts and eventually a swimming pool were added to the properties.

A new class of sailboats, Fishers Island One Designs (FIODs) were designed for use by adults in 1910 and are still used today.

Hay Harbor’s nine-hole links golf course was originally designed in 1898 by George Strath, designer of the famous Royal Troon golf course in Scotland. The HHC course is the oldest on Fishers Island and offers spectacular views of Race Rock lighthouse and Long Island Sound.

Today HHC offers both young and older members golf, tennis, sailing and water sports activities as well as dining and social events in a casual country club setting. Hay Harbor has a long history of tradition spanning generations.
